Free Strategy Session Agreement: No Shade, Brighter Spaces

1. What this session covers

The strategy session is a free 20-minute call where we discuss one specific room or zone in your home. By the end, you'll receive a written strategic plan with three steps to tackle the space. This session is diagnostic and advisory—I'm not physically working in your home during this call.

2. Confidentiality

Everything we discuss is completely confidential. What you tell me about your space, your home, or your situation stays between us. I will not share details of our conversation with anyone, and I do not use client stories for marketing without explicit permission.

3. Recording, transcription, and AI

This call will be recorded and transcribed using Gemini AI. This allows me to focus completely on our conversation rather than taking notes, and ensures I create an accurate strategic plan based on what we discuss.

The recording is deleted as soon as the transcript is generated (usually within 24 hours). The transcript is kept for 12 months and then deleted. Neither the recording nor the transcript is shared with anyone outside of the AI transcription service, and both are used solely to produce your plan. No photos or images are processed by AI.

4. Your strategic plan and intellectual property

After the call, I'll send you a strategic plan as a PDF attachment via email. This plan is prepared specifically for you and contains my proprietary methodology.

You're welcome to:

  • Use the plan to organise your own home

  • Tell friends, family, or colleagues about the plan and recommend No Shade, Brighter Spaces

  • Share your experience and results (with proper credit to No Shade, Brighter Spaces)

 

You may not:

  • Reproduce, copy, or distribute the plan for commercial purposes

  • Use the methodology, structure, or content to provide professional organising services

  • Present the plan or any part of it as your own work

 

This plan is protected by copyright. Any unauthorised commercial use or reproduction will be pursued through legal action. If you're unsure whether a use is permitted, please contact me at katie@noshadebrighterspaces.com.

5. Marketing consent

To receive your strategic plan and any follow-up communication, you'll need to opt in to my mailing list when you book. Your plan will be sent via email after the call.

 

Important: If you unsubscribe before receiving your plan, I won't be able to deliver it. You can unsubscribe at any time after receiving your plan using the link in any email I send.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

To reschedule: Use the link in your confirmation email for instant rebooking. If you can't access the link, contact me at katie@noshadebrighterspaces.com or 07303 127245.

 

To cancel: Email katie@noshadebrighterspaces.com or call 07303 127245. As much notice as possible helps, but I understand things come up.

 

If I need to cancel: If I need to cancel your session, I'll contact you as soon as possible to reschedule at a time that works for you.

7. No-shows

If you're not in the Google Meet waiting room within a few minutes of our start time, I'll call your mobile number. If I can't reach you, I'll wait 10 minutes and then close the session. You're welcome to rebook any time.

8. Session boundaries

This session creates a practical plan for your space. If our conversation moves into trauma, bereavement, or deep emotional content, I may need to pause and redirect us to the practical focus. This boundary protects both of us—these conversations need proper time and space, not a 20-minute call with a hard stop. If you need trauma-informed support alongside practical organising, we can discuss in-home sessions where there's time to navigate both properly.

9. What happens next

After receiving your strategic plan, you can either book a more comprehensive session (in-home or virtual) where we work through the plan together, or follow the plan yourself.

10. Professional standards

I am a member of APDO (Association of Professional Declutterers & Organisers) and abide by their code of ethics. I am fully insured with public liability and professional indemnity insurance.
